LifeScore is looking for a Head of Label and A&R (Freelance) to run its newly announced Kaleidoscope label. The ideal person has a proven successful track record in the music industry, particularly in label management, A&R (internal catalogue and external artists for remix projects), music marketing and releases, and the ability to lead projects independently. Kaleidoscope’s Head of Label and A&R is responsible for all services and products related to the label. This role will report directly to the CEO of LifeScore and can be based in the US or the UK.
LifeScore is at that exciting point in its development where it is about to expand rapidly in market reach and depth of product. The Head of Label and A&R will play a crucial role coordinating, managing and overseeing the creation, development and execution of all Kaleidoscope projects.

Research, identify, and establish connections with music artists, established and emerging, through major and independent record labels, music publishers, rights holders, and direct relationships with artists for Kaleidoscope remix projects
A&R (Artist and Repertoire) for Kaleidoscope owned content, including direction for Kaleidoscope music production and launch on DSPs.
Management of artist collaboration projects, creating remixes with Kaleidoscope using LifeScore technology.
Cultivate artist relationships, providing guidance and support.
Marketing, Promotion, and Sales:
Develop and execute marketing strategies for projects and music releases.
Drive promotional campaigns and manage distribution channels for optimal sales.
Marketing and Promotion of artist collaboration projects as well as Kaleidoscope owned music.
Financial Oversight and Revenue Tracking:
Manage the Kaleidoscope Budget holistically, including but not limited to marketing spend, public relations spend, social media ad spend, contractors, contracted agencies, etc.
Ensure the establishment of systems to track and check revenue based on the utilization of music assets, including the collection of publishing rights (eg : PROs.)
Industry Networking and Representation:
Build and maintain strong relationships within the music industry.
Serve as the representative for the label, fostering connections internally and externally with artists, management, and the broader industry.
Release Campaign and Catalogue Management:
Manage the release schedule for Kaleidoscope, ensuring a harmonious blend of artist releases and catalogue launches.
Strategically plan and execute creative release campaigns.
Analyze campaign outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and enhancement.
Label Growth and Branding:
Contribute to label growth through the introduction of new music and valuable contacts.
Supervise all label activities, enriching the brand through events, collaborations, and partnerships
